Singapore’s Hawker Centers (more foody stuff)

Hawker Centers are open air food courts offering cheap and delicious eats–a foodie’s paradise. Hainanese Chicken Rice is a famous dish (there’s a whole page about it on Wikipedia). More than a few guidebooks, travel gurus (including Anthony Bourdain and Samantha Brown) and friends recommend one spot over all others: the Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice stall at Maxwell Food Center.

The experts say the one problem with the Hawker Centers is there’s just too much choice! All good marketers know “choice depresses response” which is just a fancy way of saying we can get paralyzed by too many options. We’ll have to see about that!
